So while we were in Southend we went and checked out a brand new place that opened in Southend, not to far from Victoria shopping centre. Caddies is an all new indoor crazy golf which also serves food and drink, making it a all round experience. Caddies is home to two 9 hole crazy golf courses both completely different. One is called Mulberry Thicket and the other Raspberry Hawthorn. Each course starts in the secret garden and you play and putt your way into the retro electric clubhouse. It blends perfectly with fun with your friends and has a fantastic range of obstacles through out the courses too. They range from putting your way through ducks, singing chickens to going up an industrial chute and to then finally where you putt through a fireplace and the painting insults you. Who knew you could find a brilliantly fun crazy golf course all indoors.
The place is beautifully decorated in a 70’s theme and is bright and vibrant and full of little quirkiness around the place and pictures with different which well and truly suit the people behind the place. We all just loved the place and feel in love with it when we entered and started exploring.
Then we decided to have some food here as we were really hungry and Southend seems to be hard to find any decent food places to eat. I can tell you the food was amazing and some of the best food we have had. They even do cocktails! It was lovely and our ice cream we had after was amazing too.
So if you are in the area I would so recommend that you check it out. It was so much fun and not expensive either. We had a great time and we did not stop laughing throughout the games of golf that we had and the great food was fantastic. Go check it out. We will be back when we are next in the area and we found a new place to eat to in Southend as well so win win!
Caddies is open 7 days a week from 12 o’clock. The food menu consists off both meat and vegan dishes and golf is just £5 per course.
